General Community Questions
Our leasing office is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

Encore Montrose offers a variety of thoughtfully designed studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartment homes with modern finishes, open-concept layouts, and select floor plans featuring upgraded views, private balconies, and spacious kitchen islands.
Encore Montrose is located in the heart of Houston’s vibrant Montrose neighborhood, offering convenient access to Downtown, Midtown, River Oaks, The Medical Center, and major freeways while still maintaining a neighborhood feel.
Leasing and Application Process
Scheduling a tour is easy! Prospects can schedule an in-person tour directly through our website, call the leasing office, or stop by during office hours.
Applicants are required to provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of income. Income and identity verification are securely processed through Payscore as part of the application screening process.
Encore Montrose utilizes a standard qualification criteria for all applicants to help ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines. Qualification requirements include income, credit, rental history, and background screening. Additional qualification details are provided during the application process and through the Qualification Acknowledgement form.
Applications can be completed online through our website at any time. Once submitted, our leasing team will guide applicants through the remainder of the approval and leasing process.
Yes, renters insurance is required for all residents at Encore Montrose. Please contact the leasing office for details.
Application approvals are typically completed within 24 to 72 hours depending on screening results and how quickly all required documentation is submitted. Workforce Housing applications may require an additional 72 hours depending on document turnaround and compliance review timelines.
Encore Montrose offers flexible lease terms ranging from 3 to 15 months based on availability.
Yes. Encore Montrose conducts background, credit, rental history, income, and identity screenings as part of the application process to help ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines. Income and identity verification are completed through Payscore, a third-party verification company.
Pricing, Fees, & Deposits
Based on screening results, the deposit requirement may vary. Please refer to the Community Fee Guide.
Each floor plan on our website displays both the base rent and the Total Monthly Leasing Price (TMLP). Included in the TMLP are mandatory monthly community fees. A full breakdown of fees can be found in our Community Fee Guide.
Utilities billed through the community in addition to rent include water, sewer, trash, pest control, and applicable administrative or service fees. Residents are also responsible for setting up electric, internet, cable, and renters insurance independently.
Move-In, Lease Terms
Encore Montrose offers lease terms ranging from 3 to 15 months based on availability. Workforce Housing apartment homes require a 12-month lease term and cannot be shortened or extended.
Once approved, residents will receive a detailed welcome email outlining all items required prior to move-in, including lease documents, utility setup information, renters insurance requirements, and move-in payment instructions.
Amenities & Lifestyle
Yes! Encore Montrose offers controlled-access assigned parking. One parking space is included with one-bedroom apartment homes and two parking spaces are included with two-bedroom apartment homes. Parking assignments are provided at move-in.
